A walking group, a language café, a games night, a workshop at the community centre. You bring the activity and the warmth. Gader takes care of the sign-ups, reminders and check-in, and helps people nearby discover what you're doing.
Free · No contract · Works next to your WhatsApp group
Sign-up lists scrolling away in a group chat. The same questions every week: what time, where exactly, is there still room? People who say yes and then don't turn up. Counting heads at the door. And the neighbours who would love to join, but simply never hear about it.
Your activity shows up for people nearby who are looking for something to do. Little by little, neighbours who don't know you yet can find their way in.
One page per activity with everything on it: when, where, how many places. Share a single link in your group chat, your newsletter or on the noticeboard.
People can follow you and see your activities first. After each session there's a shared photo album, and coming back next week is one tap away. That's how a group becomes a community.
Put your activity on a page and share a single link. It opens in any browser, no app store needed.
Set how many people fit. When it's full, new sign-ups go onto a waitlist automatically.
Everyone who signed up gets a reminder before it starts, so fewer people forget.
One scan of a QR code, or a six-digit code. You know who actually came.
Keep your activity as a template and publish next week's in seconds.
Run a café, library or community centre? Claim your venue, show your weekly schedule and let colleagues or volunteers help manage it.
Also included: a conversation thread before the activity, a shared photo album after it, an organizer profile with a verified badge, and the choice to make an activity public, friends-only or invite-only.
Open app.gader.nl in any browser, or get the Android app. Sign in with your email address, phone number, or Google or Apple account.
Switch your account to an organizer account in your settings, and add a short bio so people know who's behind the activity.
What, where, when and how many places. Add a photo if you like. Then share the link wherever your people already are.
Check people in with the QR code. Next week, publish again from your template.
That's the one thing we ask in return. Gader is free for organizers because you open a door: when newcomers can find their way into your activity, the whole neighbourhood gets a little more connected. Prefer a fully closed group? That's possible too, just have a chat with us.
Gader works a little differently from most apps. Participants join for free: no subscription, no fee to sign up for an activity. Showing up is their part. Organizers never pay us for their activities either: no listing fee, no fee per event, no cut of your sign-ups. Opening your activity to new people is your part. The money comes from organisations that invest in neighbourhood life, like municipalities, housing corporations and funds. They want to know whether their neighbourhoods are growing closer, and we can show them, in totals.
So we never charge you rent to reach your own people, and we never sell anyone's personal data. Reports only ever show totals, like how many different people checked in and how many came back. Never anything about one person.
Not at all. Gader works next to it. Keep chatting where you already chat, and share your Gader link there for sign-ups, reminders and check-in.
Nothing. You never pay Gader for your activities: no subscription, no fee per event, no cut of your sign-ups. And for the people who join, Gader is free too, with no subscription.
Yes. You can show a price on your activity page. For now, people pay you the way they already do; paying through Gader itself isn't available yet.
Joining takes a link and a quick sign-in with an email address or phone number. It works in any browser, no app store needed, in Dutch and English. And people who'd rather just walk in are of course still welcome.
You see who signed up and who checked in for your own activities. People decide for themselves what's on their profile and who can see it, and anyone can download or delete their data at any time.
Yes. Send us a message and we'll set up your first activity together. We're a small team and we enjoy meeting the people who keep a neighbourhood going.
